Saving money can be a daunting task, but simple changes around the house can add up to large savings in the long run.

The Colorado Energy Resource Center helps ease the burden of energy costs for residents, not by paying the bills of others, rather by helping to lower costs through small, smart changes.

Starting with an energy audit, the ERC is able to identify areas in the home where energy is escaping, in turn, costing homeowners and renters hard earned money.

This energy audit is free for income qualified residents, and a low cost for those with higher income levels.

Using blower doors, infared cameras, gas/CO sniffers, visual tools, measurements and analysis software, ERC teams can help decide which solutions are appropriate for each individual home.

In some cases, once the audit is done, an experienced team of certified technicians return to the home to make updgrades and changes. Air sealing, insulation, HVAC, lighting, faucets and refrigerators are just some of the areas of focus for teams.
