The father of a 16-year-old who escaped from an at-risk youth facility in Aurora says the facility should have done more.

Now the teen, Corbin Chatlovsky, has a warrant out for his arrest.

Corbin ran away from Jefferson Hills on March 11. He suffers from depression and bipolar disorder.

Reports say counselors let him take out the trash and Corbin kept walking down the road.

Aurora police say the facility, which is located on the 1200 block of Potomac St., waited more than an hour before reporting the escape.

"He had to have walked a long ways, so if they would have been on their horses about it then he probably would have been found," father Josh Chatlovsky said. "You gotta stay strong and can't let them see I hurt, but I hurt every night."

Jefferson Hills says its policy is to call police as soon as possible if someone escapes.

It does allow some teens to take out the trash on a work program, but did not say if Corbin was part of that program.
