A widespread Comcast outage during Game 7 of the World Series left many in Colorado more than a little frustrated Wednesday night.

An outage map on Down Detector shows a giant red blob over the Denver metro area.

Much of San Francisco, Chicago and Boston were having the same problems.

Luckily, it seems to have only hit the HD channels, so those wanting to catch the game can still watch in standard definition.

As of 8:00 p.m, a few customers reported having service back, but the majority did not. No word from comcast on when to expect full service to return or what caused the outage.
