Denver's one of the top cities in the nation when it comes to U.S. Postal Service employees getting bitten by dogs.
According to the USPS, Denver ranks No. 7 in the country when it comes to mail workers getting bitten, ranking ahead of much larger cities like Chicago and Dallas.
The USPS presented its findings in advance of National Dog Bite Prevention Week April 9-15, and said that 6,755 postal employees were attacked by dogs in 2016, including 47 in Denver.
Los Angeles led the country with 80 postal employees getting bitten by dogs.
