WINTER PARK — This weekend Winter Park is debuting a mobile pop-up bar known as Alpine and Ales. It will be at various locations on the mountain every Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the rest of the season.

The bar will have standing room for about 20 people. There will also be about 30 comfy lounge chairs placed near the bar to give people a place to relax.

They'll serve only canned beer but will feature 12 different kinds with an emphasis on their own Mary Jane Ale and other Colorado Craft Brews.

As part of the grand opening on Saturday the bar will be located on Village Way trail, about half way up the mountain on the Winter Park side. The first 100 people who stop by get a free beer. After that, beers are $5.

Alpine and Ales will also be open during the summer and return for next year's entire winter ski season.

Winter Park is set to close April 22, Mary Jane may stay open a week longer depending on the snow.
