The Colorado Professional Fire Fighters Foundation serves our everyday hero’s – local firefighters who need help in a moment's notice.
Whether it's an injury, cancer, or a line-of-duty death, the CPFF Foundation is there.
This year, once again, they’re part of Colorado Gives Day – a day you can help out local nonprofits and your money goes even further with a $1 million incentive fund.
The foundation is close to 9NEWS Morning Anchor Corey Rose’s heart.
Corey lost her father, who was a Los Angeles City Firefighter for 32 years, from line-of-duty cancer.
She says a foundation like this in California would have helped her family immensely at a time of need and that’s why she serves on the CPFFF board.
Corey talks about the foundation along with two other board members, Eric Losh with Mountain Vie Fire and Scott Rogers with West Metro Fire about who they help and why.
