A firefighter was hurt battling a fire that destroyed an Adams County home, according to a spokesperson for North Metro Fire Rescue.
Crews responded to the home in the Wadley Farms neighborhood between 11 and 11:30 Sunday night.
The roof collapsed while crews battled the fire, making it unsafe for firefighters to go inside to check for victims, the spokesperson said.
Crews planned to head back to the home later Monday morning to continue their investigation.
The extent of the firefighter's injuries is unknown at this time.
