Don’t freak out if you hear emergency sirens blaring in Boulder County Monday.
This is part of countywide testing – something that will happen on the first Monday of each month from April to August.
Monday’s tests will happen twice: once at 10 a.m. and once at 7 p.m. This isn’t just to make noise: it also ensures the outdoor emergency warning sirens are in tip-top shape in the event something actually happens.
When you hear the sirens and it’s not a test, remember to seek shelter immediately and turn on the TV or radio for emergency information.
