Santa is responding to all those letters

Hey kids, Santa is never too busy to respond to your letters. The United States Postal Service can prove it.

Hey kids, Santa is never too busy to respond to your letters. The United States Postal Service can prove it.

The letters to Santa program is adding to the magic of the Christmas holiday. What's more, it can teach youngsters about the dying art of letter writing.

Here's how the program works:

  • Have the child write a letter to Santa and place it in an envelope addressed to: Santa Claus, North Pole.
  • Write a personalized response to the child's letter and sign it "From Santa."
  • Put the letter into an envelope and address it to the child. Don't forget the stamp for the one you want to be sent back.
  • Add the return address: SANTA, NORTH POLE, to the envelope and pop it into a larger envelope.

Here's the address to use:

NORTH POLE POSTMARK POSTMASTER
4141 POSTMARK DR
ANCHORAGE AK 99530-9998

The letters must arrive in Anchorage, Alaska by Dec. 15!
