Colorado gained 700 online advertisements to fill jobs in April from the previous month, the second straight month of increases in help-wanted ads following a big slide the previous month.
That’s according to the latest monthly Help Wanted OnLine report today from The Conference Board Inc., published today.
Colorado’s unduplicated online want ads rose by 700 last month, to 118,000, following March’s gain of 2,000 ads. That follows February’s big drop of 7,800 ads in the state.
The online want-ad trend in Colorado has bounced up and down in recent months, according to Conference Board data. The state saw an increase of 1,100 online job ads in January, declines of 2,900 job ads in December and 900 in November, a gain of 3,200 in October, a loss of 2,300 in September, and gains of 1,200 in August and 6,600 in July.
