A woman from Lakewood was identified as the person who died in a six-vehicle crash Monday morning.

Anna Huffman, 43, was the driver of a minivan stopped at a red light behind four other vehicles at the Alameda Avenue and Oak Street intersection when her car was rear-ended by a truck.

The crash caused Huffman's vehicle to collide into the car in front of her and set a chain reaction that resulted in the multi-vehicle accident, Lakewood Police said.

Huffman had a child passenger in her vehicle at the time. He was airlifted to Children's Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Tuesday, police said the boy and Huffman are relatives. He is still hospitalized.

The driver of the pickup was sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators are still working to determine a cause for the crash and will announce charges, if any, as the case proceeds.

Drugs and alcohol do not appear to have factored into the crash, but are awaiting test results before a final determination.
