Ten years ago artist Sandra Lee Van Dam sold a painting. She charged just $25 for the piece, one of two she painted at the time.

She never thought about the painting until recently when she got a call from a man who found it in an unlikely place, a trash can at Colfax and Broadway.

Her business card was on the back of the painting. She met the man and got her art back.

Now Sandra has the  painting, but she still wants an answer to her question. Who put the painting in the trash?
