Our Next Question comes from Kristin Moore, who’s curious about the rules for skateboarders around Denver.

Moore told us "I'm curious to know what the rules of the road, and sidewalks, are for skateboards, kick scooters, and the like."

So Next checked. And we found that people who use any sort of “coasting” transportation should be using the sidewalks, not the roads.

That includes roller skates, skateboards, kick scooters. All of these must yield to pedestrians, which includes those in motorized wheelchairs.

But the rules are different for motorized scooters. Those must be ridden on the road, and can be only on the sidewalks when they’re parked.

Kirsten kindly tweeted us her thanks on Twitter.

You’re more than welcome, Kirsten.
