Next Question: "Is Cheyenne Place the shortest street in Denver? I believe it is, but I would like to know for certain."
That question came to Next from viewer Dick Hess, so we checked in with the city to find an answer.
Cheyenne Place, which connects Colfax Avenue and North Broadway, is short. It's the one right by the Denver Post's old headquarters in downtown Denver.
But that's actually not the shortest. Coming in at 97 feet long is South Alamo Court in southwest Denver, according to Public Works. It's a cul-de-sac with six houses, near Raccoon Creek Golf Course in the Grant Ranch area.
And while we were checking in, we asked about the longest street.

Nope, not Colfax. While that is the longest continuous street in America, it's not the longest street in Denver proper.
The top 10, excluding interstates, according to Denver Public Works:
- Sheridan Boulevard: Just over 11 miles long
- Lowell Boulevard: About 10.7 miles long
- Pena Boulevard: About 10.2 miles long.
- Monaco Street Parkway: About 9.87 miles
- Quebec Street: About 9.82 miles
- Alameda Avenue: About 9.82 miles, too, but a bit shorter
- Federal Boulevard: About 9.6 miles
- Colorado Boulevard: About 9.5 miles
- Dahlia Street: About 9.2 miles
- Colfax Avenue: About 9 miles (in city limits)
