These anti-violence T-shirts were designed by 8th graders

On Wednesday, hundreds of school walkouts are planned across the country. Through them, students hope to spark change in gun laws following last month's shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

At McAuliffe International School, in Denver's Park Hill, students are planning for the walk out, but also getting noticed for a very personal tribute to the victims of school shootings.

Izzy Carabetta, Elliot Guinness, Stephanie Danahey, who are 8th grade students, decided to design a T-shirt with mass shooting victims' names in the shape of the United States.

They say this is their way of making change, instead of waiting for change to come.

Hear from the students in the video above.
