KUSA - Thousands of homeless pets receive life-changing medical care at the Dumb Friends League every year.
They don't turn animals away - they'll help them if they're injured, old, or even in need of critical care
Last year alone, the D-F-L staff performed more than 10 thousand surgeries, from routine spay and neuter procedures, to dental surgeries, to fracture repair.
They also work in big teams to help animals that are very sick, with things like the parvo-virus.
