A child who was hit by a car outside of Greenlee Elementary School Thursday morning sustained serious injuries, Denver Police said.
DPD first tweeted about the apparent accident at around 8:45 a.m. They say the girl was crossing Lipan Street to get to school when she was struck.
The girl was taken to the hospital by ambulance, and there’s no word on her condition.
Police say the driver stayed on the scene and speed was not a factor.
No additional information was immediately available.
