Longmont Police confirm that the body of a missing Fort Collins woman was found in a car parked outside of a Walmart off Highway 66.

Police say there is no apparent danger to the public.

Officers first found the woman at around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. An employee said she noticed the 1990s Honda in the parking lot of the Walmart at around noon on Monday. When it was still there on Tuesday night, she called police.

Longmont Police did not identify the woman, but they did say she was in her 30s.

The Boulder County Coroner’s Office is investigating how she died.
