Here’s to our real-life superheroes! There are many ways to thank veterans for their courage and sacrifice, but celebrating their heroism with freebies is a good start. It shows appreciation and, also, lets them keep their budget in check for more important expenses.
There are many deals, discounts and freebies for military members (active and veterans), as part of Veterans Day on Sunday, November 11 in Denver & Boulder. (Note: There are a few available on Monday, November 12.)
Be sure to bring a military/veteran ID or other proof of service. As always, the offers are only available at participating locations, while supplies last.
The round-up includes mostly national chains, but there are a few from local businesses mixed in. The round-up will be updated, as more deals are confirmed. Check back often.

The offers only apply to active or former members of the military and are not extended to family or guests — unless noted otherwise. Plus, there is no additional purchase required, unless noted. However, you may expect to pay taxes (in some cases) and a gratuity, of course.

Dumb Friends League – Adoption fees are waived for all pets from November 10 to 12. All cat and dog adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip identification implant and a complimentary office visit with a participating veterinarian. The standard adoption screening process still applies.
