KUSA - For 36 years, 9NEWS has recognized extraordinary people who do extraordinary things through volunteering. It's called: 9Who Care.
Thursday night, we celebrated nine special people who give time and talent to make lives better. 9NEWS hosted a dinner for them, along with their friends and family in Studio B at 9NEWS.
Each was introduced by the executive director of the nonprofit for which they volunteer. They received a special award for their volunteerism.
From Gunnison to Fort Lupton to Denver to Greeley: each 9Who Care winner shares one thing in common: they don't want or expect accolades - despite the fact that they are the lifeblood of the nonprofits they serve.
