Former presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is coming back to Colorado. He'll be in Boulder on Monday campaigning for Amendment 69.
Amendment 69 would replace most private health insurance with a single insurer called Colorado Care.
The state would collect taxes from Coloradans and employers, but that wouldn't be enough to cover all the costs.
So Colorado Care would also need money from the government. Sanders has been a supporter of Amendment 69, saying the US is the major country not to guarantee health care to all people.
Sanders will be speaking at a rally on Farrand Field on the CU Boulder campus.
Doors open at 4 p.m. The event starts at 5 p.m.
