Hospitality company Hilton said its first Hilton branded hotel in Vail — DoubleTree by Hilton Vail — is set to open.
The former Holiday Inn in West Vail was renovated and Hilton said the 116-unit hotel will feature a soon-to-open restaurant, Pivot62.
The new hotel is seeking year-round visitors, officials said.
"While Vail is one of the world’s most popular ski destinations, it continues to attract adventure-seekers of all kinds, year-round,” said Shawn McAteer, global head and senior vice president, DoubleTree by Hilton, in a statement.
