There's a wide world of stock photography that thrives on taking photos for uber-specific situations.
For the sake of proving a point, I typed in "man steals cake" and lo and behold -- we were blessed with this gem of a photo:
Anyway, while looking for images to make our lovely "Happy Spring" graphic, we stumbled upon some truly awesome images that sadly, we'll likely never have the chance to use.
In celebration of the first day of spring, we decided to share our favorite, odd photos that pop up when you type in the word "spring" into Thinkstock. Enjoy.
Not too sure what's happening here, but these girls are having the time of their lives on this dock while donning these festive outfits. This is 10/10 a party I'd love to be invited to.
I was about three photos into my search before I remembered that spring could also mean leap or jump, which made this photo make a little more sense, but not that much more. How is this man jumping over an entire city? Did he just get a promotion? Also, what city is this? Is that the faint trace of mountains in the background? I don't think it's Denver, but who even knows.
OK, so we've got another jumper over here. A straight white background, a white lab coat and a whole bunch of face being served. This doctor doesn't look super happy, but maybe she just cured the common cold and is extremely proud of herself.
This mother looks absolutely over her child who apparently has way too much energy for the headache she now definitely has. Granted, he shouldn't be jumping on this nice couch BUT at least he took his shoes off. Little victories.
Honestly, this was the photo that gave us the idea to compile this story in the first place. There's not much I can do to rationalize why this photo was ever an idea that was carried out, but because it exists, we think you need to see it.
This wholesome watercolor of a happy frog is pretty on brand for spring, so we decided to throw him into the mix to add some art to this story.
I love fitness as much as the next person, but I clearly don't love it as much as this woman who is BEAMING during this at-home workout. There's not a drop of sweat on her forehead as she and her perfectly coiffed bangs destroy some jump roping. You go girl.
