Every day after school, Club members like Elizabeth walk into their local Boys & Girls Club where they can leave their problems behind and can simply be a kid. At the Boys & Girls Club, they can explore their interests in a warm, accepting and nurturing atmosphere.
In the year since eight-year-old Elizabeth started coming to the Club, she became hooked on learning. Her reading and spelling skills have improved, thanks to one-on-one homework help, and she is often found in the Club's learning center.
Elizabeth finds herself getting lost in the fun and creativity of play when she's at the Boys & Girls Club. She is a reminder of the simple beauty of childhood wonder and our responsibility to the future to never give up on it.
Each day, thousands of kids like Elizabeth rely on Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver to provide life-changing programs and services. Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver is there for kids when they need us most: after school, all day in the summer, and even during the school day. Our membership is open to all youth ages 6-18, and for $2 annually, our Club members have access to a wealth of programming that has the power to positively shape and change their lives.
