Denver — Family, then football is what matters the most for the Chubb family.

“Growing up, my dad would make sure he held us to a higher standard than everyone else around us," Bradley Chubb said at todays introductory Broncos press conference. "I feel like that helped not only me, but my brother as well, with being great men. Being a Chubb is something different, and I have to have a higher expectation for myself and for future generations to come as well.”

Bradley's dad Aaron played in the NFL, but he admitted today that nothing he did in his career was as rewarding as watching his son accomplish his dreams.

"Not even comparable," Aaron said. "You raise your kids to grow up and be strong men and for them to seize the opportunity to get to the point where they can do what they want to do is just a relief and proud moment as a parent."

Bradley's mom Stacey said dad gets credit for all of the on the field accomplishments, but she wants credit for the person he's become.

She also admitted that she is glad the Broncos were bad this season; were they not, there's no way Bradley Chubb could call Colorado home.

Denver would have never been able to land him. Lucky for both the Broncos and Chubb, it all worked out.
