The new number one in boy's 5A high school basketball is also the new number one in our latest Honor Roll.

Not only did Chaparral knock off previously unbeaten Rock Canyon to move to the top of the state's hoop rankings, but the duo of Kobe Sanders and Bryce Matthews combined for our top 9NEWS Prep Rally play of the week with a sweet alley-oop dunk.

Starting off the highlight reel plays at number five was the incredible halftime performance from Fossil Ridge freshman baton twirler Makaela Anderson. That same game took home the number four spot when Fort Collins senior Ty Thomas hit a game winning 3-pointer in the final minute to stun the heavily favored Sabercats.

Number three was a play that's already gone viral online, but is worth another look. Kevin Bruno, a sophomore student at Pomona who has Down syndrome, came in the game and hit a big-time shot in his team's game against Ralston Valley.

Number two looked less like a high school play and more like a classic Michael Jordan Highlight. In his team's matchup against Denver South, Far Northeast guard Dachaun Davis Jr. channeled his inner MJ with a gorgeous up and under layup, tongue out and everything.

Still, the perfect pass and monstrous throw-down from Chaparral is our play of the week.

We've ranked the top plays, but ultimately it's you, the viewer, who decides who was number one. Vote in the poll you see below. The winner will be announced during the 9NEWS Sunday morning Prep Rally.
