The Spring season is a fickle friend, but luckily this week the weather cooperated with us and Colorado's prep sports produced some spectacular plays.

Check your neck for whip lash after watching our No. 5 ranked play. Lewis Palmer's Garrett Ziegler whipped around firing a shot past the Chaparral Wolverines goalkeeper.

In our No. 4 ranked play, Arapahoe girls soccer goalkeeper came up big in a nil-nil affair against the No. 1 ranked 5A team in the state Grandview. After a Wolves free kick, Grace Cadorette catches a piece of the ball, tipping it over the net for a big save to keep the game scoreless.

Earlier in the week Arapahoe's boys lacrosse team faced off against the Kent Denver Sundevils. This time Kent Denver's goalkeeper came up with the big saves against Arapahoe for our No. 3 play of the week. Goalie Joey Waldbaum's reflexes were on overtime, making the first and the second save against the Warriors to keep the Sundevils in it.

Our runner-up play of the week this week could have easily also been our first. Chaparral's Hannah Mill pulled out the slick move going behind-the-back on a no-look shot to give the Wolverines the lead and a big win against Castle View.

However this week's top play was a all-out effort for the goal. Columbine's Patrick Stadelmaier was getting mobbed in front and yet he still found the back of the net with three Cherry Creek defenseman around him.

Stadelmaier helped close the gap on a big Bruins lead in the second half with this gritty goal.

We've ranked them, now we'd like to hear what you think should be our top play! VOTE for the play you think should be placed in the top spot. The winner will be announced during the 9NEWS Sunday morning Prep Rally.
