DENVER -- The Bennett Tigers are an undefeated 14-0 this season after taking down the KIPP Denver Collegiate Tigers 3-0 on Tuesday evening.

Only dropping two sets out of 13 games prior to their game against KIPP, Bennett was faced with a challenge after trailing late in the first set.

KIPP lead 24-19 late in that first set; however, senior and one of Bennett's leading hitters, Lelaina Wakeham, helped the Tigers climb back with five straight points to tie the game. They would score two more to take the set 26-24.

After winning the first set a little too close for comfort, Bennett came out hot pulling ahead early, expanding on their lead and holding it. They took the second with authority 25-8.

Third set, KIPP attempted to hold on doing what they could to stay organized and block any attempts Bennett would hit at them. They would keep it close; however, the Bennett fire power helped the team pull away for the last handful of points and the 25-20 win.

Bennett remains an undefeated 14-0 with another shut out win.
