Broomfield will play for its fourth state title -- first since 1984 -- after knocking off defending 4A champion Windsor in Saturday's semifinal match-up.

The Eagles (11-2) defeated the Wizards (9-4) by a final score of 25-13. It was scoreless through the first quarter, but Windsor's Corte Tapia was the first to break that spell. The Colorado State commit forced his way into the end zone after a couple of tough runs to make it 7-0 Wizards in the second quarter. They would hang onto that lead through the first half.

In the second half, the Eagles took over. Broomfield's Jalon Torres led his team on the ground with two rushing touchdowns.

Broomfield will play Pine Creek from Colorado Springs in the 4A state championship game on Saturday, December 3.
