DENVER -- Defending 4A state champions, the Cheyenne Mountain Indians, came up from Colorado Springs to face a talented Denver East Angels volleyball team Wednesday night.

The No. 3 ranked 5A team, Denver East, turned a six game shutout-streak prior to their game against the Indians with another 3-0 shutout to make it seven.

The Angels went one, two, three (25-17, 25-22, 25-14) in set wins against the No. 7 ranked 4A team Cheyenne Mountain.

Qairo Bentley, Maya Patterson, and Chase Jackson -- leaders in kills for the Angels -- all helped their team climb to a final 25 points each set win and another victory before post season.

The Angels are now 15-3 this season and will compete next in the Dakota Ridge volleyball tournament.
