The Colorado Buffs added another local football player to their list of recruits.

Palmer Ridge quarterback Ty Evans, after previously decommitting from the Arkansas Razorbacks, has decided to verbally commit to the University of Colorado football for the 2019-20 season.

A junior this year, Evans and the Bears won their first 3A Football State Championship against the Erie Tigers in December.

The 6-foot-3, 190 pound quarterback has a powerful throwing arm, throwing for 3,627 yards, 42 touchdowns, with a .625 completion rate this last season.

Evan joins Valor Christian running back Joshia Davis in the 2019 recruiting class. Davis committed to CU live on 9NEWS in December.
