WESTMINSTER-- The Fossil Ridge Sabercats have been a tall order for opponents all season, literally.

Height along the net--like the dominating presence of 6'5" Sophomore Riley Zuhn--has played a significant role in the team's impressive 16-2 overall record this year.

A road contest against Mountain Range was no different, as Fossil Ridge swept in straight sets.

The win temporarily puts the Sabercats back in first place in the 5A Front Range league standings, sitting a half game up on Fairview.

Fossil Ridge controlled all three sets, winning by scores of 25-12, 25-8 and 25-15.

Zuhn, Catie Semadeni and Mataya Megson were all over the floor making plays for their team, helping Fossil Ridge stay out in front all night.

Senior Calee Martin had some solid kills for Mountain Range, but Fossil Ridge was simply too impressive above the net for the Mustangs.

With the win, the Sabercats will now wait for the result of Fairview's final conference game.

If the Knights lose against Greeley West next week, Fossil Ridge will win the conference. If Fairview wins, the two teams will both be tied for first atop the league.
