It's not often you see such a big celebration after a team's fourth win of the season.

But all the people with balloons, signs, flowers and even a cake weren't celebrating that victory. They were celebrating a legacy, and a milestone of which the state of Colorado has never seen before.

Caryn Jarocki--the head girls' basketball coach at Highlands Ranch--earned her 600th career victory Thursday night. It's the most wins of any coach in Colorado girls' basketball history.

"I'm just amazed and proud of my kids, and my school and the fans," Jarocki said. "Everyone has been so supportive. It's really wonderful."

Jarocki has been coaching in the state for 33 years now, 22 of which have been at Highlands Ranch.

She's notched 449 of those 600 victories with the Falcons, and the rest in her first eleven seasons with Colorado Academy.

"The girls wanted to win this game really bad," Jarocki said. "They wanted to get this milestone accomplished for me, which is really sweet. I love them for that."

Jarocki's incredible resume transcends more than just basketball, as she is also the all-time leader in wins for any girls' sport in the state.
