With an awesome dance party and a special gift to someone who absolutely deserves it, Mountain Vista High School is this week's winner of our 9Preps FAN-tastic series.

Gabby Kovach is an 8-year-old girl with a rare form of Leukemia who was granted a wish by Make-A-Wish Colorado. Her request? To be famous. And, Mountain Vista made that happen on Friday.

First, the school held an "epic bash" for Gabby at the school's assembly in the morning--and the name was fitting.

She got to rock out on stage in a giant dance party with the entire school.

Then at night, it was time for the Mountain Vista boys' basketball team to take on ThunderRidge.

Gabby couldn't make it for the game, but the Golden Eagles fans decided to go all out anyway with an amazing crowd performance in her honor. They put together an awesome show at halftime--which led to a pretty sweet dance party as well.

You can watch the full video of the halftime performance below, which includes a shout out to Gabby as the entire packed crowd holds up signs that read, "We love Gabby".

For the creativity, size of the student section, passion and the fact that it was all for an awesome cause, Mountain Vista High School is this week's winner of 9Preps FAN-tastic!
