BOULDER -- The No. 3 Columbine Rebels took it to the ground and run, run, run to beat No. 7 ranked Fairview Knights on Thursday evening.

Sticking with their game plan to utilize their strong runners, the Rebels ran it all over the field with quarterback Mikey Griebel and running backs Tim Mullen, Conner Snow, Russell Cruz, and more.

The Knights unable to catch any momentum through the air gained most of their yardage in this one with Mariano Kemp in the back field.

Even though Fairview would see some success through the air in the fourth quarter, the Rebels success on the ground throughout the game was too much for the Knights.

Columbine gets the 36-15 win and a 5-1 overall record.

Griebel reaches the end zone three times on the ground for the Rebels.
