Football, field hockey and soccer were featured in the Saturday morning Prep Rally on October 22.

Coming into this week, just three games remained in the regular football season. No. 10 Doherty traveled from Colorado Springs to take on No. 4 Grandview in a top-ten showdown at Legacy Stadium, Lutheran hosted Skyview for its homecoming game, Regis and Aurora Central put their winning records on the line, and Mountain Valley and Longmont Christian gave us an entertaining (and high-scoring) 6-man football game.

Field hockey wrapped up its regular season this week, with Cherry and Creek and Mountain Vista taking the field. The playoffs got underway on Friday. You can see the tournament bracket here.

Denver Christian soccer hosted Dawson on its new turf field this week. Soccer wrapped up its final season of play as well.

Finally, the Lindsay name is well-known in the Denver Public School football circle, so we went to South to visit with Marcus Lindsay and coach Tony Lindsay Sr. on what it means to carry the family name. If it sounds familiar -- it should. You've also seen a Lindsay aiding the University of Colorado Buffaloes on their rise back to prominence.

Watch the Saturday morning Prep Rally in the video above, and be sure to tune in Sunday for results from the 3A, 4A and 5A state softball championships.
