The Sunday morning Prep Rally was a mixture of football, softball, volleyball and soccer highlights from the week of October 3.

It was a huge week for the No. 1 seeded football teams as they hit the halfway mark in the season. A handful had bye weeks, but the top seed from every other classification came away victorious. On Friday, Loveland, the top seed in 4A, was hoping to keep that trend going as they took on a tough No. 6 Broomfield.

This week, we also saw Wheat Ridge take on new conference opponent George Washington, Lyons versus Estes Park, and a presidential showdown between Thomas Jefferson and Kennedy.

On the volleyball courts, it was a top-ten match-up between Cherry Creek and Arapahoe. Arapahoe would rally after falling behind two sets, and would ultimately force a fifth and final.

Softball finished up its regular season play this week. Cherokee Trail and Eaglecrest went head-to-head, while No. 1 ranked Broomfield looked to finish off the season a perfect 15-0 taking on Boulder.

Speaking of undefeated -- Denver East boys' soccer took the field against a gritty Denver North.
