KUSA – In 2013, Eric Law had more points than any other University of Denver Pioneer lacrosse player, but Law has since graduated from college and is now playing in the pros. In a way, though, it still kind of feels like number 11 is still out there, still at the attack position and still leading the team in points.

Like Law, the new number 11, Jack Bobzien, also spent his prep days winning state championships at Arapahoe High School.

"I grew up watching Eric, watched him in middle school and in high school and was fortunate enough to play with him when I was a freshman, and he was a senior and learned a lot from him," said Bobzien.

DU Head Coach Bill Tierney said it was actually Law who suggested that his former high school teammate wear his number.

"He filled that jersey out really well," said Tierney.

DU will look to extend their season-long winning streak to seven games when they play host to St. Johns on Saturday.
