FORT COLLINS - After many complicated months, Spencer Dinwiddie has decided to forgo his senior season and enter the NBA draft.

Dinwiddie tore his anterior cruciate ligament while driving to the basket against Washington in mid-January and missed the rest of the season for the Buffs.

The setback – and the promise of the next year as the Buffs are projected to be top-20 team – made the decision all the more difficult.

The point guard had been on the Wooden Award watch list before the season and was a projected lottery pick in the draft prior to the injury.

The point guard averaged 14.7 points, 3.8 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game for Colorado and played a major role in the Buffs making the NCAA Tournament in all three seasons he was in Boulder.
