Aqib Talib will play for Wade Phillips, face Michael Crabtree in 2018

More importantly, in joining the Rams, Talib reunites with former defensive coordinator Wade Phillips, who already made his mark on the Rams' defense last season.
Aqib Talib warms up before a game at Qualcomm Stadium on October 13, 2016 in San Diego, California.

Aqib Talib will not be playing for the Denver Broncos next season, but one of the fans’ favorite rivalries gets a chance to continue.

With Talib moving on to play for the Los Angeles Rams, he’ll see a familiar for across from him once again. The Oakland Raiders will play the Rams next season, meaning wide receiver Michael Crabtree just can’t shake his biggest rival.

You may remember a couple of meetings between these two guys.

More importantly, in joining the Rams, Talib reunites with former defensive coordinator Wade Phillips, who already made his mark on the Rams’ defense last season. Now, he has Talib and Marcus Peters to work with, allowing Los Angeles to attempt to create its own version of the ‘No Fly Zone’.

One thing is for sure, there are going to be high expectations for the Rams this year and there will likely be plenty of extra eyes watching when Talib matches up against No. 15 for the Raiders.
