KUSA—Maybe Vegas would have been more impressed had the Broncos drafted Christian McCaffrey?

Now that the NFL Draft is finished and rosters are pretty much set, the first over-under betting lines have been posted.

The Broncos over/under betting line is 8.5 wins, according to South Point sports book. There are 13 teams with greater projected win totals.

For what it’s worth, I think the Broncos did enough to fortify their fronts to improve on their 9-7 record from last year. I think the Broncos can go 10-6 and win a playoff game in 2017.

If they get injuries to the wrong people, I suppose they could stumble to 7-9, 8-8. Keep in mind, the Broncos' most common over/under projection last season was 9 wins. They went 9-7. House won again.

Most of the NFL's over/under lines are reflections from last year’s records, although the Miami Dolphins, who were 10-6 last year, are listed at 7.5 wins, and the Dallas Cowboys, who were 13-3, come in at 9.5.

The 8-8 Baltimore Ravens, 6-10 Carolina Panthers and 6-9-1 Cincinnati Bengals are projected to bounce back with over/under wins of 9.5, 9 and 8.5, respectively.

New England is tops with an over/under of 11 followed by Seattle and Pittsburgh at 10.5 and Green Bay and Atlanta at 10 wins.

No other team has a double-digit, over/under win total. In the Broncos’ AFC West, Oakland is the favorite with 9.5 wins followed by Kansas City at 9. The San Diego Chargers are up to 7.5.
