Tuesday brought good news in Colorado Rockies Pitcher Chad Bettis' fight with cancer.
Just got done with my last day of chemo!! My family and I want to say thank you for all the support and prayers! We're eternally grateful for y'all. We are excited to move forward and start the process of getting back. Again, thank you! We love you! 👊🏻 #letsgettowork

Bettis learned in March that his testicular cancer had unexpectedly spread, leading him to undergo several rounds of chemotherapy over the last couple of months.
He was initially diagnosed in November, before having surgery to remove the cancer on Nov. 29.
9NEWS ran a story in February regarding how his faith helped him in his battle.
His family has also played a big role throughout the process. Pictured in the above photo is Bettis, his wife Kristina and the couple's first baby girl that was born just a couple months ago.
They, baseball fans across the country and we here at 9NEWS will continue to have Bettis and his family in our thoughts until he returns to full health.
