Last week, CDOT worked on knocking down rocks that were in danger of falling on I-25 in southern Colorado.

Next week, they will turn their attention to I-70 and that will mean shutdowns on the interstate.

From now until mid-June, crews will be drilling into the rock face near Fall River Road.

They will be looking to loosen rocks before starting to blast.

Once blasting begins, lanes will be shutdown between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Exact dates for the blasting have not been determined yet.
