Clearing an afternoon wreck in Castle Rock was like "loading an Easter egg on a flatbed", troopers said on Twitter.
Just before 3 p.m., a cement mixer tipped on Highlands Ranch Parkway at Highway 85, hitting a van and causing a traffic mess.
Some fuel and cement spilled onto the roadway, prompting an hourslong closure of Highlands Ranch Parkway.
The road reopened around 6 p.m.
