Denver Water crews have been working to repair a water main break near the Sloan Lake neighborhood.
As a result, W. 17th Ave. is closed between Julian and Irving Streets.
The break occurred early Wednesday morning on a 12-inch water pipe, according to Denver Water. Seven homes are without water while repairs are made.
Denver Water expects repairs to last throughout the day.
