One person was killed and another was seriously injured in an early morning car crash on Interstate 70, Denver Police said on Sunday.
Five people were in the car, which was headed east on I-70 at Grape Street, when it went off the road, hit a tree and an electric utility box around 4 a.m.
At this point, police say it's unclear whether the person who died was a passenger or the driver. Drugs and alcohol are not suspected in this wreck, but police aren't sure why the car went off the road.
The eastbound lanes of I-70 were closed for four hours during the investigation.
