Between the many in Rocky Mountain ski towns, the classics in downtown Denver, even the coming Gaylord Rockies in Aurora, Colorado has no shortage of what could easily be considered "iconic" hotels.
The state even took up nine out of 10 top spots in Condé Nast Traveler's "Best in the West" rankings released last week.
So, with all the great hotels to choose from — which one stands out at the state's most "iconic"?
The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park does, according to New York-based Thrillist's new list " The Most Iconic Hotel in Every State."
