Several severe thunderstorm warnings hit the Denver metro area on Thursday, including the areas east of downtown as well.
The first round of warnings hit around 3:17 and lasted until 4 when parts of Denver and its suburbs were hit by light hail and heavy rain.
The second round pounded areas northeast of the city, including Greeley and even up to Fort Collins.
The entirety of eastern Colorado (including Colorado Springs, Pueblo and the area surrounding Denver) are under a severe thunderstorm watch until 10 p.m. Thursday night.
