A foggy morning in parts of the Denver metro area will give way to warmer temperatures on Friday afternoon and Saturday.

A 9NEWS photojournalist captured an image of foggy conditions at Denver International Airport early Friday morning. You can see that below:

The National Weather Service says you might notice areas of fog between Denver to Fort Collins and Greeley, but temperatures will reach the 50s later in the day.

It’s a different story in the mountains, where you’ll find scattered snow showers, with blowing snow increasing later Friday night into early Saturday morning, with winter travel conditions expected.

It will be dry, breezy and mild on the plains and the Front Range, though.
