After Monday's baseball hail in parts of the metro area the focus of severe weather may shift slightly to the east for Tuesday afternoon and evening.

While the highest risk of severe storms is over the central and southeastern plains, here along the Front Range we may still have some intense storms after 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Large hail will again be the most-likely threat, but heavy rain could cause flooding problems. Up to an 1" of rainfall is possible in some Front Range and Plains locations through Wednesday morning.

Lighter, more docile showers are expected for Wednesday.
